Where are they now? Installment 17: Kelly’s Journey to Lasting Change

We recently caught up with Kelly, a graduate of our weight loss program, to discuss her journey and the lasting impact it has had on her life. Kelly shared her post-program update with her coach, Tieva, and answered some insightful questions about her experience with our therapeutic and anti-inflammatory weight loss program. Since graduating, she has continued to see success! Here’s her story:

How long has it been since you completed your program?

I finished 8/31/2024.

What were the key factors that motivated you to join our weight loss program?

I wanted to feel better first and foremost.

Can you share with us your overall experience with the 90-day anti-inflammatory weight loss program?

I was apprehensive and overwhelmed when I first started. My coach broke it down into very manageable 1-week chunks. I’ve learned so much about what my body likes and doesn’t like. It truly is a new way of life for me, and something I will always come back to.

How has your life changed since you’ve changed how you eat and view food?

I’m going out now! I’m having date nights with my husband! Prior to this program, I wasn’t feeling great, and I didn’t really want to do anything. This program has truly given me my life back!

How is your weight and body function today in comparison to when you started?

My weight is down. I lost 30 pounds on the program, and I’ve continued to lose on my own since I graduated. (Another 11 pounds so far, I have 15 more to my goal.)

My body functions much better when I’m on the plan. There have been so many positive changes that have helped me stay on track. This truly is the rest of my life.

Have there been any unexpected benefits or outcomes from following the program’s guidelines?

Testing foods I thought were healthy, and that I had been eating regularly, were actually hurting me. I wasn’t expecting that.

Have you maintained your weight loss and health improvement successes?

I’ve maintained and continued losing on my own. I’m currently down 42 pounds overall. I stay on plan 99% of the time. When I’m off, I enjoy what I’m eating, and I go right back to my plan. It’s about balance for me.

How did our program equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle beyond the program’s duration?

It has taught me how to eat foods that my body wants, and how to find and test those foods. If you stray from the program, you have all the tools to get back on track.

What do you think sets our program apart from other programs?

That it is not a one-size-fits-all program. That it is for each individual person and their body.

How did you feel about the weekly coaching sessions and daily support from your designated coach?

I thought it was fantastic. Your coach is truly teaching you how to live the rest of your life on your own.

As a program graduate, what advice would you give to someone who is struggling with inflammation and weight gain and just starting their weight loss journey with hopes to achieve long-term success like you?

Trust the process. Throw everything you thought you knew out the window, and listen to your coach. If you don’t change how you eat, this program isn’t going to help you. You need to be all in.

On a scale of 1-10 what number accurately describes your experience with us?

15! I cannot say enough great things about this program. It has truly changed my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Kelly is a wonderful example of the results of being completely dedicated to the process of our program. The personalized support and well-structured plan helped her to unlearn and relearn what nutrition is. Her journey highlights the importance of understanding one’s body and making sustainable changes for long-term health and well-being. We are incredibly proud of Kelly’s success and grateful to have been a part of her transformative journey. If you’re considering a change for a healthier, happier you, remember Kelly’s advice: trust the process and be all in. Your new life awaits!
